About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a key member of our engineering squad, you will be responsible for leading the development of our software solutions and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, and test software applications, ensuring they meet technical requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them to grow and develop their skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve our software development processes and tools.
  • Work closely with our product team to understand customer needs and develop software solutions that meet those needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in JavaScript technologies, including Node.JS, Vue.JS, NestJS, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with AWS is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks, such as React and Angular, is a plus.
