Role Summary: Our organization is seeking a dedicated Residential Care Assistant to become an integral part of our team in Plymouth. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children and adolescents residing in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people aged 8-18 who may exhibit emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of passionate professionals to create a nurturing and enjoyable environment.
  • Adapt to various situations and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Participate in a structured rota, working 39 hours per week, including shifts and optional sleep-ins.

Qualifications: While prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. We welcome individuals who are motivated and eager to learn.

Requirements:

  • Possession of an enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working with children or young people is preferred.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, training, and qualifications. We offer competitive daily rates, paid weekly through our in-house payroll system.
