An exciting opportunity has emerged for a highly skilled Residential Care Manager to lead a reputable children's residential home. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 and exceptional benefits.

As a Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, managing a team to maintain high standards of care, and ensuring compliance with Ofsted's Quality Standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the home in line with Ofsted's Quality Standards, striving to exceed these and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of regulations and developments in residential childcare to ensure ongoing compliance and quality.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is maintained to meet Ofsted's standards, including the home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Making placement decisions based on thorough assessments to support each child's wellbeing and integration.
  • Promoting the organisation to external stakeholders as a centre of high-quality, aspirational care.
  • Managing budgets, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring financial viability within the home.
