About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams to deliver subsea engineering projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Design and lead the analysis of subsea systems, pipelines, and cables, adhering to applicable codes and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with proposal and project teams to deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Evaluate, organize, and prioritize workloads, providing regular feedback to the team.
  • Manage the delivery of client deliverables, including design calculations, analysis models, specifications, and study reports.
  • Mentor and develop junior subsea engineers, promoting their growth and professional development.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital design tools and processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of related industry experience.
  • BEng/MEng Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Professional Chartered Status (or working towards attainment) preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in subsea and pipeline design, including field development and integrity management.
  • Strong technical integration skills, with ability to coordinate across related disciplines.
  • Proven leadership skills, with attention to detail and delivery.
  • Experience in project management and controls, with offshore experience and certification advantageous.
  • Proficiency in FEA tools such as OrcaFlex and/or Abaqus.
