About Aberlour Glasgow Family Support Services....

Aberlour operates various support services across Glasgow, assisting families and young individuals aged 0-18. Our mission is to provide accessible, community-based family support initiatives aimed at helping disadvantaged children, young people, and families in the area. Position Overview....

We are seeking a Service Administrator to work 37.5 hours per week, primarily from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. This role will be office-based within our Glasgow locations. We welcome applications for job share arrangements.

The Service Administrator role at Aberlour is diverse and engaging. Responsibilities include general administrative duties such as financial record-keeping, ordering office supplies, and maintaining our filing systems. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in welcoming families to our offices, serving as their first point of contact. Our young clients look forward to interacting with our Service Administrators, who greet them with warmth and friendliness. You will also assist families and partners seeking urgent support, responding in a compassionate and helpful manner.

Ideally, candidates will possess administrative experience from a busy office or social care setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, as you will be creating spreadsheets and managing numerical data. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. A relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or equivalent experience in a fast-paced office environment is preferred.
