Job Title: Albanian Speaking Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ideal for All. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.

Main Responsibilities:

Personal Care:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Encourage clients to develop their self-caring skills and provide support where required.
  • Prompt clients to prepare meals with support and guidance, promoting independence and safety in the kitchen.
  • Support clients to clean all areas after use, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Encourage clients' participation and provide minimal support in daily tasks, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Prompt clients to take their medication, ensuring adherence to their treatment plan.

Social Duties:

  • Support clients to check the food in the fridge and cupboards, discarding any out-of-date items.
  • Assist clients to create a shopping list and accompany them to the supermarket to purchase essential items.
  • Support clients to access the community, promoting social interaction and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS clearance required.
  • Caring and respectful communication skills.
  • Reliable and accountable for own actions.
  • Good time-keeping skills.
