Support Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ideal for All. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting an individual with severe anxiety to regain independence and confidence in accessing activities outside of their home environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist the individual in reintroducing them to and familiarizing them with various places and activities
Accompany the individual on visits to places and assist in engaging with agreed activities
Develop a friendly and professional relationship with the individual
Gradually extend the individual's experience of places outside of the home as their anxiety becomes controlled and confidence increases
Requirements:
Skilled in interpersonal work with individuals experiencing severe anxiety
Ability to respond appropriately and help manage anxiety when out and about
Knowledge or experience of working with autism and ADHD desirable
Own car and willingness to travel in the Staffordshire area required
