About the Role

Themis Recruit is excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned Cost Litigation Specialist to become part of a prestigious costs litigation team. This role involves working closely with colleagues and reporting to the Practice Development Lead on a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Advising on complex legal technical issues and cost-related disputes for clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Drafting essential legal documents pertinent to Cost Litigation, such as skeleton arguments, Points of Dispute, witness statements, applications, and draft orders.
  • Designing and delivering a comprehensive training program for the Costs Litigation department, the Specialist Serious Personal Injury teams, and the broader practice group.
  • Mentoring and supporting the growth of team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • Assisting the Practice Development Lead in formulating and executing the Cost Litigation strategy.
  • Participating in Detailed Assessment Hearings, Oral Hearings, CCMCs, and Cost Applications.
