Legionella Risk Assessor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team at Resourcing Group. As a leading facilities maintenance organisation, we work with a variety of blue chip clients across the North East, providing a range of services to ensure their facilities are safe and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct legionella risk assessments to a high standard, adhering to the latest version of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition) and its associated technical guidance documents of HSG274 and the British standard code of practice for risk assessing.
  2. Utilise electronic app-based systems and manual methods as required to complete risk assessments.
  3. Produce schematic diagrams using Microsoft Visio to support risk assessment reports.
  4. Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely completion of legionella risk assessment paperwork and reports.
  6. Participate in risk assessment review meetings with clients to discuss findings and recommendations.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in legionella risk assessing, with a City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment Qualification (or equivalent) being beneficial.
  2. Wide knowledge of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition) and its associated technical guidance documents of HSG274.
  3. Understanding of the British standard code of practice for risk assessing.
  4. Knowledge of cooling towers, process systems, and other systems (desirable but not essential).
  5. Suitable and sufficient experience working within the water treatment industry.
  6. Health and safety management expertise.
