Deputy Care Home Manager Opportunity

Coben Healthcare is partnering with a leading national care provider to find a skilled Deputy Care Home Manager for their Colchester, Essex location.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care in a small to medium-sized elderly and dementia residential care home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the provision of excellent care and services.
  • Oversee the care staff and assume full management responsibilities in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Guide, instruct, and lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Support the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments, care planning, and daily record-keeping.
  • Foster effective communication with residents' families and external organizations.
Requirements:
  • Previous Deputy Home Management experience.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, and staffing teams.
