We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Nazareth Care Charitable Trust. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- To work collaboratively with the care team to monitor residents' health needs, identify areas for improvement, and implement care plans in line with their individual preferences and needs.
- To provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' care, including progress notes and care plans.
- To participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision.
About You
We are looking for a caring and empathetic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with residents, their families, and the care team. You will need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care provision, preferably in a residential setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
