About the Role:
Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Director to join our team at our Ambleside care home in Stratford-upon-Avon. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring that we deliver exceptional care to our residents and maintain a high level of satisfaction with our service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide effective leadership and management to all staff employed in the home, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Care Delivery: Ensure that a caring environment is delivered according to the latest guidelines, best practice, legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Ensure the effective financial and commercial management of the home in accordance with company policy.
- Service Development: Work with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of care and services provided.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Residential and Dementia care setting.
- Skills: Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts, knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation, and ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in care management or a related field.
