Actuarial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Core-Asset Consulting Ltd. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support on client calculations, working closely with internal colleagues and external clients to ensure calculations are in line with client needs and system configurations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support on client calculations and ensuring calculations are in line with client needs and system configurations.
  • Working with internal colleagues and external clients to ensure calculations are accurate and meet client requirements.
  • Adopting global calculation sets to meet specific client requirements, including test and quality assurance processes.
  • Translating Excel formulas into JSON and other coding languages.
  • Reviewing and responding to testing tickets that suggest calculations aren't working as per requirements.
  • Updating Excel workbooks and system configurations to reflect new calculation requirements provided by clients.
  • Supporting ad-hoc mathematics challenges that arise and supporting internal projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Real-world actuarial/applied maths problem-solving experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
