Role Overview:

As the Aquatics Operations Manager, you will oversee all aquatic programs within the designated area. Your leadership will guide a team of Swim Instructors in delivering a comprehensive learn-to-swim curriculum, catering to all ages from infants to adults. You will utilize the aquatic facilities to foster community engagement and promote physical activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all aquatic activities and staff within the area.
  • Develop and implement effective swim programs that meet community needs.
  • Ensure high standards of safety and customer service are maintained.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of aquatic programs and staff.
  • Engage with the community to promote participation in aquatic activities.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in a management role within a medium to large aquatic facility.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service experience.
  • A minimum of three years in an aquatic environment, with a focus on programming and operations.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments.
  • Commercial awareness to ensure the financial viability of operations.
  • A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • The ability to travel between various sites as needed.
