Position Overview

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to become a vital part of our Utilities division.

Location: Northern Ireland, Belfast - hybrid working model available, with occasional site visits required.

Contract Type: Permanent - full-time with flexible working hours available upon request.

Key Responsibilities

In the role of Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate with the Contracts Management team to ensure the effective execution of a bespoke £100M Target cost gas construction and maintenance contract. Your daily tasks will encompass:

  • Monitoring, verifying, and generating reports on costs and values using Causeway Project Accounting (CPA).
  • Calculating productivity bonuses and preparing monthly and final payment applications, including the evaluation and processing of sub-contract payment requests.
  • Compiling weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc commercial reports, including monthly Cost to Revenue Variances (CRVs).
  • Accurately predicting, tracking, and reporting project costs and values by analyzing cost reports and interpreting financial data to reconcile costs and values.
  • Creating cost estimates and performing additional tasks to support the broader team and business objectives.

Candidate Profile

This Quantity Surveyor position is ideal for individuals who:

  • Possess experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Accounts Manager.
  • Have a background in managing high volume, low value projects.
  • Exhibit strong IT capabilities, particularly with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Have experience in client-facing roles.
  • Hold a valid driving license.
