Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant

The Recruitment Co is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Posting invoices and credit notes in the system, ensuring accurate coding and reconciliation
  • Ownership of the Creditor ledger, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
  • Supporting the order process with suppliers and purchasing department as needed
  • Dealing with internal and external queries, providing excellent customer service
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures
  • Managing supplier account terms, setting up new suppliers as required
  • IT literacy, including knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software
