Job Title: Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor

Clinical Employment Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings for employees to identify potential health risks and develop strategies for prevention and mitigation.
  • Provide expert guidance on workplace health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Develop and implement effective health promotion initiatives to foster a healthy work environment and improve employee well-being.
  • Offer expert advice on managing employee absence due to health reasons, working closely with management to minimize disruption and ensure continuity.
  • Collaborate with management to create a healthy work environment, promoting a culture of wellness and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Conduct first aid when necessary, providing prompt and effective care to employees in need.
  • Investigate incidents through root cause analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare detailed reports on occupational health matters, providing actionable insights and recommendations for management.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Occupational Health Nurse or Advisor with a strong background in health assessment, health promotion, and health education.
  • Experience in conducting health assessments and screenings, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating health risks.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures and protocols, with the ability to provide prompt and effective care in emergency situations.
  • Proficient in report writing and record keeping, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and reports.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques, with the ability to investigate incidents and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with management, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
