Position Overview: This role is based at our Taunton depot and offers numerous benefits, including job security, pension contributions, stay-away bonuses, reimbursable expenses, and overtime compensation at time and a half, with a competitive and attainable overall earnings potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliveries may require overnight stays (up to 4 nights per week), with a fixed allowance for each stay.
  • This is a Monday to Friday role, allowing weekends off.
As a member of the Transport department, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all deliveries are executed safely, securely, and efficiently.

Compliance and Standards: You will be expected to uphold all driving compliance standards in a safe and professional manner.

Collaborate with the Transport Manager to manage logistics while maintaining a customer-first approach at all times.


Maintain clear communication between the office and clients to guarantee that deliveries are made on time or ahead of schedule.

Adhere to all relevant regulations consistently, including Tacho and DSA driving standards.

Uphold a positive representation of the Conquip brand in all customer interactions.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 1 License.


Possess a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with a willingness to assist with tasks beyond driving when necessary.
