Job Title: Head of Sustainability and Environmental Strategy
Location: Flexible, with options for remote work and occasional travel to our UK offices.
Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

What you'll be doing:
- Developing and implementing our Land Sustainability strategy, including Net Zero operations, sustainable products, and social value initiatives.
- Monitoring and driving sustainability processes and outputs, ensuring we meet and exceed our goals.
- Leading the Land Sustainability Working Group, creating a roadmap for achievement and driving progress.
- Liaising with our M&L Sector and Group Sustainability & Social Value initiatives, ensuring alignment with our objectives.
- Providing thought leadership and expertise on sustainability, advising on business strategy and decision-making.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of relevant legislation and regulation.
- Supporting the development of sustainability and social value materials for UK bids and campaigns.
- Developing and maintaining sustainability metrics and reporting for Land and Group ESG reporting requirements.
- Driving engagement and support for our Land Sustainability agenda.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential skills:
- Previous responsibility for sustainability/ESG strategy and execution.
- Genuine passion for environmental and social responsibility, with a strong desire to improve economic and social wellbeing.
- Understanding of current and future sustainability issues and their impact on business.
- Strong experience in managing and working with partners to build trusted relationships and establish value.
- Able to challenge stakeholders and drive delivery across dispersed teams in a complex environment.
- Track record of delivery and project management discipline.
- Customer-focused, with strong relationships and influencing skills.
Desirable skills:
- Degree in a relevant business area or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Membership of an accredited professional body.
