Job Title: Ambulatory Equine Veterinarian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equine Veterinarian to join our team at Endell Equine Hospital in Salisbury. As an Ambulatory Equine Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to horses in the Wiltshire, Hampshire, and Dorset areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing routine and emergency ambulatory equine care
  • Triage and collaboration with in-house specialists in diagnosis and management of complex cases requiring hospitalization
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and vets through excellent communication and attention to detail
  • On-call requirements, including ambulatory calls and receiving/triaging hospital cases
  • Participating in the development and implementation of treatment plans and protocols

Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine and Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and team members
  • Full UK driver's license
  • Interest in teaching and mentoring, with opportunities to participate in Bristol student's equine rotations
