Project Commissioning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning process across projects commercially and domestically. The successful candidate will report to the Q&C Manager and the Managing Director, and will be responsible for the daily management of all M&E commissioning activities on projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage specialist subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of commissioning activities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, including attendance at meetings and reporting on progress.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and a positive company image.
  • Review and approve commissioning method statements to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Supervise on-site testing and report on results to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Provide expert advice on the quality of M&E installations during the installation phase.
  • Coordinate with utility companies to ensure seamless commissioning of services.
  • Manage the treatment of water and other services to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that services are designed and installed to meet company standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork among staff and professional team members.
The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Commissioning Manager with a strong background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/installation. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Industry-recognized qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/installation.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a commissioning manager, preferably in the commissioning of domestic/commercial systems.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to track progress and manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
