About the Role: Allegiance Technology is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and experience working with various financial software systems.

Role Overview: As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a variety of financial tasks, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing and reconciling client accounts, and preparing and submitting financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for a portfolio of clients.
  • Process and reconcile client accounts using Xero and Dext software.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, working with various financial schemes (e.g., accrual, cash, and tax accounting).
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a financial operations role.
