Job Title: Manager, Collections

About the Role:

Burberry is seeking a skilled Manager to join the Collection Merchandising - Menswear team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the product strategy for the Menswear business, building the collection, and coaching and developing the assistant merchandiser to support them in delivering the collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with cross-functional partners across Design, Product Development, Planning, and Supply Chain.
  • Define strategic growth ambitions for the department, seeking opportunities for business growth.
  • Organize and coordinate collection notes and buying guides.
  • Analyze and provide feedback on seasonal buys in a strategic and coherent recap.
  • Present brand buys to regional teams for market opening.
  • Own the commercial samples ordering process and budget.
  • Manage accuracy of seasonal market documents/tools, including PLM data entry, and support the Merchandising Assistant to prepare reports using Excel for the Merchandising team.
  • Able to manage a budget with commercial awareness, retail math skills, and understanding of product cost, achieving a balance between creativity and commercial implications.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
