Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Excel Engineering Recruitment ltd. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas appliances, including commercial boilers/burners, oil, chillers, and air conditioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM schedules and meet set KPI targets covering commercial sites including restaurants, car showrooms, offices, care homes, and other commercial sites.
  • Participate in a 24-hour rota for emergency call-outs; standby allowance paid and overtime rates apply (1 in 6).
  • Work for a reputable and well-established Building Services company specializing in M&E Engineering, including commercial gas/HVAC maintenance.
  • Maintain close working relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring long-term contracts and security.
  • Deliver quality and high standards of service.
Requirements
  • Recognized industry qualifications including Gas Safe/ACS commercial gas.
  • Good customer service skills, well-presented, and articulate.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances.
  • Experience of working on commercial gas maintenance contracts is advantageous.
  • Motivated and trustworthy.
