Your essential role in the processing, testing, storing and distribution of blood and blood products will directly contribute to the saving and improving of patients' lives.
Main ResponsibilitiesWorking within the RCI Reagents Production Laboratory as a Higher Healthcare Technical Officer (HHTO), you will have the opportunity to learn skills and train to be an essential member of our Reagents team.
- Supporting with the manufacturing, dispensing and labelling of in vitro diagnostic products.
- Following written instructions and ensuring the services you provide are in line with standard processes and good practice, showing attention to detail.
- Undertaking routine and non-routine tasks, some of which may be of a repetitive nature.
- Ensuring all activities are documented, keeping accurate records throughout all aspects of the job role.
- Providing support and training to less experienced staff once trained and competent in the task.
- Handling equipment and consumables on a daily basis weighing up to 13 kgs, with appropriate training.
