Senior Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Advance TRS. As a key member of our civil design engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for providing geotechnical expertise for civil design projects, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide geotechnical expertise for civil design projects, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes.
  • Develop investigation specifications, reports, and designs, utilizing your expertise in geotechnical engineering.
  • Design foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, and piles, applying your knowledge of geotechnical principles.
  • Collaborate with our team to conduct design risk assessments and hazard reviews, ensuring the safety of our projects.
  • Offer technical guidance to teams and clients, providing expertise in geotechnical engineering.
Requirements:
  • Holder of a Civil Engineering degree and Chartered status.
  • Background in civil design, preferably in a consultancy setting.
  • Prior involvement in infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail or power sectors.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Solid expertise in civil structural projects involving essential geotechnical knowledge for design.
