Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator

Exciting Opportunity
We are pleased to announce a new position for a Training Lead in Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support within our Quality Assurance and Practice Team.
We seek knowledgeable professionals who possess a strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Active Support (AS). Your role will be to assist our operational teams by providing training that promotes best practices.
Our organization specializes in delivering services for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and complex needs. This is a pivotal moment for us, as we have recently integrated with a prominent charity focused on supporting autistic individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of our accreditation with BiLD, ensuring that our training programs align with the standards set by BiLD, the Restraint Reduction Network, and the PBS Academy.
- Support employees in achieving qualifications in Positive Behaviour Support.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate all Specialist Support Trainings in collaboration with the Senior PBS and Active Support Partner.
- Coordinate and implement both classroom-based and virtual training sessions across the organization, maintaining the Training Needs Analysis.
- Collaborate with the Senior Learning and Development Partner and other Learning and Development Partners as necessary.
- Work closely with the Senior PBS and Active Support Partner to ensure that all prescribed Physical Interventions are appropriately assessed and reviewed.
- Act as the primary contact for operational teams regarding specialist training requests, fostering strong working relationships.
- Mentor employees through their qualifications in Positive Behaviour Support.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting adults with challenging behaviors and profound learning disabilities.
- At least 2 years' experience in a managerial role within Adult Social Care, with a comprehensive understanding of CQC Regulations and the Mental Capacity Act.
- Proven experience in identifying, designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for groups and individuals.
- Expertise as a Practice Leader in Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support.
- In-depth knowledge of restraint reduction standards, PBS Academy Standards for Training, and the BiLD accreditation process.
- Current knowledge of health and social care to ensure effective training course design and delivery.
