Position Overview:

The role involves a structured working schedule:

  • Week 1 (morning shifts) Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:30
  • Week 2 (afternoon shifts) Monday - Friday 13:30 - 22:00 / Saturday 07:00 - 13:00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of our commercial vehicle fleet.
  • Prepare vehicles for annual testing and ensure safe transportation to testing facilities.
  • Document vehicle issues and maintain precise records of all maintenance performed.
  • Repair minor damages resulting from accidents.
  • Perform diagnostic assessments to identify faults.
  • Prioritize safety in all tasks and responsibilities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Required qualifications include City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent hands-on experience in the commercial vehicle sector.
  • Proven experience working with commercial vehicles is mandatory.
  • A Class C+E driving license is advantageous but not a requirement.
