Overview:
We are in search of a driven junior procurement professional to join our client's vibrant Procurement team.

The ideal candidate may have prior experience as a Buyer, be a recent graduate in procurement, or possess a background in distribution or supply chain management.

While familiarity with the industry is advantageous, we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who have strong transferable skills and a genuine interest in procurement.


About the Role:

Are you meticulous and organized with a passion for procurement? We are looking for a committed Procurement Specialist to join our client's dynamic team.

This position entails daily procurement order management and provides the opportunity to broaden your expertise in various procurement functions.


Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately manage and input procurement data
- Generate Purchase Orders and monitor their status
- Follow up on order confirmations and anticipated delivery schedules
- Secure fulfillments and Proofs of Delivery (PODs)
- Manage returns and conduct stock evaluations

Qualifications and Experience:
Essential: GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grades A-C)
Desirable: 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity

Core Competencies:
- Proficient keyboard skills and effective communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset

Team Interaction:
Internal: Collaborate with Sales Support, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Credit Control teams

External:
