Polar Speed Distribution Ltd is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing our transportation routes to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule daily transportation routes using our transport planning system.
  • Allocate driver and vehicle resources for the following day.
  • Book wholesale orders and other designated orders.
  • Produce pallet movements and communicate with the operations team.
  • Manage and book "out of area" consignments.
  • Review previous day's performance and propose changes.
  • Perform other related administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Experience with routing systems (e.g. Paragon) is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office.
  • Good understanding of EU road transport rules and regulations.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Team player mentality with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
