We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Lead Physiotherapist to join our team at HCA UK. As a key member of our Paediatric and Women's Health Physiotherapy team, you will be responsible for providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and interventions to children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and interventions to children with complex needs
- Lead the clinical development of staff and the growth and development of the service
- Manage a complex caseload of approximately 30-50% billable units per day
- Use expert clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and advanced objective assessment skills for children with complex difficulties
- Provide supervision to junior and senior therapists
- Support the Head of Therapies in overseeing the organisation and management of the Paediatric and Women's Health Physiotherapy team
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
- Current registered member of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- At least 6 years' experience working as a Paediatric Physiotherapist in acute, community and/or education setting
- Previous experience of people management and leading a team
- Knowledge and application of paediatric physio assessments and interventions relevant to a Paediatric client group
