Role: Career Development Specialist for Young AdultsWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Career Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding young individuals towards successful employment and apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of young people's needs, aspirations, skills, and potential barriers to employment. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify innovative employability programs that align with their goals.
- Manage a caseload of young adults, providing personalized career guidance and support. Develop tailored action plans to address their individual challenges and foster their professional growth.
- Deliver high-quality in-work support, advice, and training sessions on essential employability skills such as interview techniques, job search strategies, CV writing, and confidence building.
- Assist young adults in preparing for the workforce by creating compelling resumes, cover letters, and application materials. Guide them through the job application process and arrange interviews when appropriate.
- Act as a key outreach liaison, building strong relationships with local organizations and community partners to identify promising candidates for our programs. Participate in events, workshops, and seminars to promote our services.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and compile case studies to demonstrate the impact of our programs. Ensure timely data input and communication to meet contractual requirements and operational targets.
