About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Development Manager to join our team at Benefact Group plc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical development of our web platform, overseeing the development of hosted Benefact websites, web UI components, and CMS components. This will involve working with design agencies and content editors to ensure deliverables meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in DevOps lifecycle and agile practices, with a focus on automation and CICD practices. They will also have experience in leading agile teams and mentoring junior members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical delivery of the web development team
  • Act as scrum master and agile coach to the team
  • Line management of front-end web developers and.NET developers
  • Develop and maintain web development coding standards and design patterns
  • Accountable for the effective delivery of change
Requirements
  • Extensive background in web development and user interface design
  • Experience in User Experience (UX) or Customer Experience (CX) or User Centred Design (UCD)
  • Experience of single page application development concepts
  • Experience of cloud-native application development
  • Experience of technical team management and delivery management
  • Experience of leading agile teams
