About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Development Manager to join our team at Benefact Group plc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical development of our web platform, overseeing the development of hosted Benefact websites, web UI components, and CMS components. This will involve working with design agencies and content editors to ensure deliverables meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in DevOps lifecycle and agile practices, with a focus on automation and CICD practices. They will also have experience in leading agile teams and mentoring junior members.

The role will involve managing a team of web developers, ensuring the effective delivery of change and adherence to quality standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining web development coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical delivery of the web development team
  • Develop and maintain web development coding standards, design patterns, and best practices
  • Lead agile teams and mentor junior members
  • Ensure the effective delivery of change and adherence to quality standards
Requirements
  • Extensive background in web development, user interface design, and website management using Content Management Systems
  • Experience in User Experience (UX) or Customer Experience (CX) or User Centred Design (UCD)
  • Experience of single page application development concepts, using technologies like Angular, React, Blazor
  • Experience of cloud-native application development, particularly using SaaS or PaaS options
  • Experience of technical team management and delivery management
