Security Officer Role at Mitie

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Mitie, providing security services to our clients. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting our clients' property, people, and assets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Task Completion: Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies. Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions.
  • Proactivity and Review: Review Assignment Instructions regularly, suggest amendments for service improvement, and comply with Industry and Statutory Legislation.
  • Safety Requirements and Procedures: Adhere to legal obligations and safety requirements, follow instructions and procedures without unnecessary challenges, and work in a systematic, methodical, and orderly manner.
  • Training and Development: Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training, undertake additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager, and use technology to achieve work objectives and enhance job knowledge and expertise through continuous professional development.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications: Previous security experience and a valid SIA License are required. SC Clearance is desirable, and a Full UK License is also desirable.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLA): Deliver results that meet/exceed KPIs and SLA for the customer, and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.
