About the Role

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is seeking a highly skilled Group People & Culture Director to join our client's executive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the HR strategy and drive cultural transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement people strategies that align with the company's goals.
  • Lead a team of HR Business Partners and HR Advisors, overseeing job descriptions, performance appraisals, KPIs, and bonus schemes.
  • Create and execute people strategies that support the company's objectives, collaborating closely with the Executive Board and senior leadership team.
  • Foster and drive a cohesive culture across the group, ensuring cultural initiatives align with the company's core values.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance with employment laws and regulations, continuously updating policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
  • Lead the rollout of new staff intranet and rewards systems, enhance employee engagement, embed leadership training, and manage other key HR projects efficiently.
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a senior HR professional with a strong background in employment law and people management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering context. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large teams and driving cultural change, with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a capable team.
