Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at ITSS Recruitment. This role involves comprehensive full-stack development utilizing technologies such as C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design and Develop: Utilize your development expertise to create intricate application services, selecting appropriate architectures, standards, platforms, and technologies to fulfill project requirements and user expectations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Guarantee that solutions adhere to our architectural and development principles, including Test, DevOps, Security, and Service Management.
  • Custom Solutions: Develop and implement tailored solutions using your proficiency in C#, Appian, and Umbraco to align with the organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with business analysts and product owners to implement application modifications requested by various business functions, leveraging your expertise to guide effective decision-making.
  • Innovate: Create and execute technical and creative solutions to meet organizational needs, staying updated on emerging technologies, recommending enhancements for continuous improvement, and sharing knowledge to mentor and elevate the team.
  • Support Architecture: Assist the IT development and technical architect in constructing, designing, and implementing cost-effective and efficient digital solutions.
  • Infrastructure Strategies: Define and implement infrastructure strategies to achieve project objectives and support our organizational goals.
  • Enterprise Architecture: Collaborate with the IT development team, technical architect, and third-party suppliers to establish the enterprise and solutions architecture.
Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, Octopus, and Sonar.
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as GIT, SVN, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Ability to maintain code quality with a high level of automated test coverage.
  • Experience in writing complex stored procedures and optimizing queries in SQL and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML5, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Ajax, etc.).
  • Experience with Umbraco or similar content management systems.
  • Desirable knowledge of data warehousing.
  • Desirable knowledge of Appian or other low-code development platforms.
