Astute People is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager for its Hinkley Point C project

Astute People's Nuclear team is partnering with an international player in the nuclear energy market to recruit a Mechanical Construction Manager for its Hinkley Point C project. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coordination and direction in the implementation and completion of site works, ensuring site works are executed and controlled, and developing and leading site management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coordination and direction in the implementation and completion of site works
  • Ensure site works are executed and controlled
  • Develop and lead site management processes
  • Manage projects, site activities, and participate in bids for site or project management activities
  • Ensure site work delivery planning is in line with HSE/CDM practices
  • Develop, lead, and oversee site teams
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and clients
  • Provide site reports and manage the day-to-day running of site activities
Requirements
  • City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 (minimum) in Engineering with a Mechanical bias
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • IOSH Managing Safely
