Academic Mentor Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Mentor to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing academic support and guidance to students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one academic support to students in multiple A-Level subjects
  • Develop and deliver group sessions to support students who require additional guidance
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support
  • Assess student needs and develop tailored support plans to meet their individual requirements
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a child-centered role or tutoring/mentoring
  • Aspirations of becoming a qualified teacher or working in education
  • Core subject degree from a Top 30 UK University
  • Ability to work with students who have Special Educational and Mental Health needs
