Job Description

**Project Engineer Role at Force Recruitment**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Force Recruitment. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific engineering projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • **Project Planning and Execution**: Work with management to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Oversee the execution of engineering projects, including managing resources and ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that all project activities comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • **Project Monitoring and Control**: Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure project goals are met.
  • **Communication and Stakeholder Management**: Communicate project status to stakeholders, including clients, project team members, and senior management.
  • **Risk and Issue Management**: Manage project risks and issues, identifying and addressing potential problems before they impact project delivery.
  • **Contractor and Supplier Management**: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • **Technical Expertise**: Participate in project design reviews and provide input on technical issues as needed.
  • **Team Leadership**: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior project engineers as needed.
Requirements:
  • **Experience**: At least two years of experience in project engineering or a related field.
  • **Education**: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
  • **Technical Skills**: Strong technical skills and experience in Fire Protection Systems design and installation.
  • **Project Management Skills**: Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage resources to achieve project goals.
  • **Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project team members, and senior management.
  • **Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome project challenges.
  • **Software Skills**: Experience with project management software such as MS Project or similar tools.
  • **Teamwork**: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
  • **Work Schedule**: Full-time, permanent role with a 37-hour working week.
  • **Work Environment**: Office-based with 1-3 site/client visits per week.
  • **Benefits**: Company car or car allowance at a certain grade.
