About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Controller to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of inventory levels, customer relationships, and providing detailed analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels to align with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the returns process in SAP, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to handle returned goods efficiently and effectively.
  • Work closely with customers to control consignment stock levels and ensure accurate tracking in SAP.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to forecast demand and replenish consigned inventory.
  • Generate reports and analytics from SAP to provide insights into inventory performance, identifying trends and proposing improvements.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance inventory management processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and clear, informative communication abilities.
  • Professionalism, especially under pressure.
  • Effective planning and organizing, ensuring tasks are prioritized, resources are managed efficiently, and deadlines are met or communicated with alternative plans.

What You'll Get in Return

This role offers a temporary contract with an hourly rate equivalent to £28,000 - £30,000 DOE. There is also the potential for the role to become permanent. The position will be based on site 5 days per week with some flexibility.
