We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced C1 Driver and Warehouse Operator to join our Brentwood Warehouse team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods, as well as the accurate storage and handling of inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
- Driving a lorry between Romford and Brentwood
- Operating waste recycling machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Performing daily stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock
- Picking orders using a hand-held scanner and preparing for packing and onward distribution
- Assisting with stock control and inventory procedures to maximize availability and minimize waste
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience of using a forklift truck and operating waste recycling machinery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- C1 Licence and CPC required
- A competitive salary of £26,500 per annum
- 25 days' holiday rising to 30 with length of service, plus bank holidays
