Job Summary
We are seeking a C1 Driver and Warehouse Operator to join our Brentwood Warehouse team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the transportation of waste materials, operation of recycling equipment, and management of stock movements.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
- Driving a lorry between Romford and Brentwood
- Operating waste recycling machinery in a safe manner
- Able to work on their feet all day and perform repetitive heavy lifting
- Abiding by current road transport regulations and laws
- Checking for damaged or missing items for onward storage in the warehouse
- Keeping accurate records of stock on the ERP system (SAP)
- Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock
- Picking orders using a hand-held scanner and preparing for packing and onward distribution
- Assisting with stock control and inventory procedures to maximize availability and minimize waste
- Ensuring the safe and appropriate storage of medicines, including environmental controls
- Providing timely and accurate delivery of outputs
Requirements
- Educated to GCSE (or equivalent level)
- Minimum 1 year working in a warehouse environment
- Experience of using a forklift truck
- Experience of working in a process-driven/structured environment
- Desirable experience of working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Desirable experience of using SAP
- C1 Licence and CPC is required

Working Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
