We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Technologist to join our Radiation Physics department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to departments for equipment testing, ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations and approved guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and performing tests on medical diagnostic radiology equipment
- Driving across a wide range of geographical locations to conduct surveys and testing
- Analysis of results and creation of reports using MS Office applications
- Performing practical tasks that support the delivery of the staff dose monitoring programme
- Participating in environmental shielding checks of radiation facilities
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experience in using IT packages for records, calculations, graphs, and managing information
- Ability to work methodically and reliably to protocols and maintain demonstrable standards
- Ability to learn and use a range of software applications and database systems
