A leading developer is seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join their team in the South of England. The company is renowned for building vibrant and sustainable communities with exceptional design and build quality.
The ideal candidate will have a degree-level education and relevant Town Planning knowledge, with MRTPI accreditation.
With a minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience in the private sector, preferably in residential development or planning and development consultancy, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering planning strategies and securing planning permissions.
Key Responsibilities:The Planning Manager will be responsible for managing the planning function from land bid stage to securing planning permission. This will involve creating planning strategies, monitoring and discharging planning commitments and conditions, and promoting planning applications.
The role requires a forward-thinking and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a development team. The Planning Manager will be responsible for managing the company's large-scale development project, ensuring all development control matters are carefully planned and promoted through the planning system.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of current government legislation and planning policy, with the ability to provide well-considered appraisals on the planning prospects of potential sites.
The Planning Manager will be a key member of the development team, working closely with colleagues to deliver planning strategies and secure planning permissions.
