Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the comprehensive execution of tyre pricing.
- Deliver insights to shape pricing strategies.
- Conduct web scraping to acquire competitive intelligence.
- Maintain critical data repositories for tyre pricing, including cost price averaging, catalogues, and competitor pricing.
- Facilitate tyre pricing discussions with senior stakeholders, providing recommendations and documenting outcomes.
- Implement tyre price adjustments for retail and wholesale sectors, and assist with fleet pricing modifications.
- Model various scenarios using Excel and SQL to assess the impact of proposed changes on sales, profitability, and market share.
- Ensure that our pricing administrator updates websites with precise tyre pricing information.
- Generate analyses on trials and pricing adjustments as part of post-implementation evaluations.
- Examine cost price fluctuations to achieve margin targets.
- Refine processes across value management practices, aligning with retail wherever feasible.
- Automate data processes to minimize manual efforts.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Pricing Management: Demonstrated experience in overseeing product pricing, ideally within the automotive or retail sectors.
- Data Analysis: Skilled in managing extensive datasets to inform data-driven decisions.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a background in data analysis and visualization. Proficient in analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to ensuring precision in pricing, data, and analysis.
- Automation and Process Enhancement: Experience in streamlining data processes and enhancing pricing methodologies.
