Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Universal Business Team. This is a 9-12 month maternity cover opportunity that will provide a challenging and rewarding experience for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and supporting the overall business growth. This will involve working closely with the team to drive financial performance and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and financial planning processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Manage tax compliance and reporting activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team member to ensure effective team performance and development.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role with a strong track record of financial management and leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis with experience in financial software and ERP systems.
  • CPA, CMA, or similar certification.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
