Job Description:

Aspire People is currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to provide support within Key Stages 1 and 2, based in Leicester City and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to pupils in Key Stages 1 and 2
  • Teach identified groups as directed by the class teacher
  • Support students to engage with the work provided
  • Provide support where necessary to ensure pupils' understanding and progress
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant or QTS/Degree qualification in Education
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting in all year groups
  • Confidence in teaching and managing a class in the absence of the class teacher
  • Patience and resilience with the ability to maintain a positive outlook and problem-solving skills to overcome barriers
  • Flexibility and availability to work on a daily supply basis
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
