We're seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team, focusing on delivering exceptional food and service.
- Manage catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and implement menu plans that meet the needs of our clients and students.
- Drive sales through promotions and added-value events, while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Monitor and control controllable costs, ensuring the company's financial goals are met.
- Oversee the development and implementation of company systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. You'll need:
- OND or HND qualification (advantageous but not essential)
- Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
- Line management experience
- Experience in a similar environment
