HR Manager Job Description

Glasgow, Scotland

Compass Corporate Services is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of HR, including employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Administer Employee Benefits: Manage employee benefits programs, including holidays, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  3. Support Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations issues, utilizing external HR advisors as needed.
  4. Implement Performance Management Systems: Develop and implement performance management systems to track employee performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  5. Maintain HR Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation are maintained using our current HR system.
  6. Develop Policies and Procedures: Partner with management to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR management, legislative changes, and recommend improvements as needed.
  8. Develop Training Content: Assist in the development of our e-learning platform and digital learning solutions to improve performance, understanding, and competency of all team members.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a similar HR role within a dental or healthcare environment.
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a HR function.
  3. Good understanding of HR processes and GDPR regulations.
  4. Flexible and professional approach to work with the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive personal data.
